Two machines, one goal, and a race against the clock. But as any athlete knows, the simplest workouts are often the most brutal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is nowhere to hide when it\u2019s just you, the monitor, and a dwindling distance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Gauntlet<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The ladder was set. I didn&#8217;t come to just finish; I came to master my strength and push the limits of what I thought was possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>By the second round, the &#8220;easy&#8221; part of the description had completely vanished. Sweat wasn&#8217;t just dripping; it was pouring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My heart rate stayed locked in the 154\u2013171 bpm range for 70% of the session. That is the &#8220;pain cave&#8221;\u2014the place where your lungs burn, your legs turn to lead, and your mind starts asking you why you&#8217;re doing this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The answer? To me, it\u2019s the next barrier to break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s going to require faster transitions, a more aggressive split on the rower, and a flat-out sprint on those final running legs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> It can be done, and I will do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stay tuned. The clock is ticking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Strength does not come from winning.
