There’s a certain shift that happens when training stops feeling like a task and starts becoming a pursuit. My 11th session with my personal trainer, Asad, marked exactly that moment—a reminder that growth lives just beyond the edge of comfort.
Asad has an instinct for knowing when to push and when to hold the line. It’s not just about intensity; it’s about precision. He understands my limits, but more importantly, he sees past them. That’s what makes each session not just challenging, but transformational.

This session was relentless in the best way. I pushed through 40 wall balls at 9kg, grinding through each rep as my legs burned and lungs fought for rhythm. Pull-ups tested my upper body endurance, demanding control and grit. Then came the highlight—40kg medicine ball over the shoulder. A personal record. That moment where doubt creeps in, and you choose to lift anyway—that’s where progress is forged.
Devil’s presses with 20kg followed, a brutal combination of strength and conditioning that left no muscle untouched. Transitioning from the assault bike to the ski-erg kept my heart rate elevated, forcing me to dig deeper with every second. It wasn’t just a workout—it was a full-body battle.

By the end, my arms were pumped, my heart was pounding, and sweat poured off me like a tap. But beneath the exhaustion was something far more powerful: satisfaction. The kind that comes from showing up, pushing through, and proving to yourself that you’re capable of more.

Session 11 wasn’t just wonderful—it was a milestone. A testament to consistency, resilience, and the right guidance.
And we’re only getting started.
