Chasing Kilometers, Finding Peace
1 000km. That’s the magic number I’m chasing to wrap up this year, and this morning, I took another solid 10km step closer to it.
Connor and I set out early for a 10km trail race. It was a breezy, cold morning—the kind that makes your lungs burn just a little but wakes up your entire soul. Running through the trails, surrounded by walls of vibrant green trees, the crisp, fresh air brought an incredible sense of calm over me.
Out there on the dirt, away from the noise, running becomes so much more than just physical movement. It becomes a moving meditation. With every stride, I found myself overwhelmed with gratitude, deeply appreciating everything I have in life and just how incredibly fortunate I am to be able to move my body like this.
