If you told me a year ago that I’d find “excitement” in a 21-minute battle against a ticking clock, I probably wouldn’t have believed you. But today? Today was different.
I tackled a brutal EMOM (Every Minute on the Minute) challenge that pushed me to my absolute limit.
Here was the mission:
The Workout
I had to complete the following circuit every 3 minutes, repeating it for a total of 7 sets:
20 Calorie Burn on the Ski-Erg
200m Sprint on the treadmill
20 Wall Ball Throws (using a hefty 7.5kg ball)
The Mental Game

The first few rounds felt great, but by the middle sets, the reality set in. That 7.5kg ball? It started feeling like it doubled in weight with every toss. My legs felt heavy, my lungs were screaming, and the treadmill felt like it was getting longer.
But I didn’t stop. I pushed through the fatigue, stayed focused on the reps, and finished all 7 sets in exactly 21 minutes.
Why I Do It

Crossing that finish line brought a level of satisfaction I can’t quite describe. I’m sitting here feeling prouder than ever.
It’s funny how fitness changes you—it turns “hard work” into something you actually look forward to.
The joy and energy this lifestyle brings to my life is truly unimaginable.

I’m already wondering what the next challenge will be. Bring it on!
